2. Cab Booking Terms
A booking is confirmed only after our team has verbally or digitally confirmed the cab, driver details, and fare via call or WhatsApp. Mere enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking.
- All bookings must be made via call or WhatsApp to +91-9931820895.
- Please provide accurate pickup location, destination, date, time, and number of passengers at the time of booking.
- We recommend booking outstation and airport cabs at least 4–12 hours in advance.
- Booking confirmation will be sent via call or WhatsApp along with driver name and vehicle number.
- We reserve the right to decline bookings at our discretion without liability.
3. Fare & Payment Policy
The fare quoted at the time of booking is the applicable fare for the trip, subject to the conditions below.
- All fares are quoted per trip and not per passenger unless stated otherwise.
- Toll charges on all highway routes (Ranchi, Kolkata, Bokaro, Dhanbad, etc.) are extra and to be paid by the passenger at actual toll booths.
- A night surcharge may apply for trips starting or ending between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. This will be communicated at booking.
- For round trip bookings, additional waiting charges may apply if the waiting time exceeds the agreed standard time.
- Fares are subject to change without prior notice, but the fare confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.
- We accept cash (payment at end of trip) and UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm).
- No advance payment is required for standard bookings unless specifically agreed.
4. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans may change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellations made 4 or more hours before the scheduled pickup time — No charge.
- Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the scheduled pickup — a nominal cancellation charge may apply.
- If the driver has already departed for pickup and the trip is cancelled — a partial fare or cab deployment charge may be levied.
- No-show by the passenger without cancellation — the booking fare or a portion thereof may be charged.
- All cancellations must be communicated directly via call to +91-9931820895.
5. Passenger Responsibilities & Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully throughout the journey.
- Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup point at the confirmed time. Excessive delay without prior notice may result in the booking being treated as cancelled.
- Consumption of alcohol, tobacco, or any intoxicants inside the cab is strictly prohibited.
- Passengers must not ask the driver to exceed the legal speed limit or take routes that are unsafe.
- Any damage to the vehicle caused by the passenger shall be the financial responsibility of the passenger.
- The number of passengers must not exceed the vehicle's legal seating capacity.
- Animals or pets are not allowed in the cab unless specifically agreed at the time of booking.
- Carrying illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items is strictly not allowed.
6. Driver & Vehicle
We assign experienced, verified drivers with valid commercial licences for all bookings. However, the following apply:
- We reserve the right to substitute a confirmed vehicle with a vehicle of equivalent or higher category without prior notice in exceptional circumstances.
- Driver details (name, vehicle number) will be shared at the time of booking confirmation.
- Drivers are instructed to maintain professional conduct. Any misconduct should be reported to us immediately at +91-9931820895.
- Drivers are not authorised to accept additional payment beyond the confirmed fare without passenger consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
Tata To Ranchi Cab shall not be held liable for the following:
- Delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, accidents, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
- Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left in the cab.
- Any loss or inconvenience arising from a missed flight, train, or event due to circumstances beyond our control.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our cab service.
Passengers are advised to keep their personal belongings secure at all times during the journey.
9. Privacy & Data Use
When you book a cab with us, you share personal information including your name, phone number, and trip details. This information is used solely for the purpose of completing your booking and communicating about your trip. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. 10. Changes to Terms
Tata To Ranchi Cab reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of our cab service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.
